4th & inches and we kick a field goal

That was a very horrible decision by CMR.. He really didn't trust his team and I really love the fact that CMR is here and he has did a great job since coming to Miami BUT I really didn't agree with that decision and never will..

Is there some reason we're all missing as to why he SHOULD have trusted the offense to get that yard?

No, there is not.

Getting shut out is worse than kicking a garbage time field goal every time.

Maybe you don't get it .... it was their 3rd team Defense on the field .... and you think he believes our first team O can't get 1 yard against them. If so, we deserved to be shut out!!!

No, I get it.

Their 3rd team defense was on the field and the UM offense still wasn't scoring a TD.

Why is there even a thread about this right now? You guys are acting like the field goal was some huge signal as to the direction of the program and Richt's coaching. What a joke. Getting shut out is a bad look. You know it's over, so you take the points. That is all.

I've never seen so much made out of so little before.

News Flash: It is...and has been. Ask UGA.

The level of ignorance of this post is nothing short of staggering

I try not to judge posters directly after a loss, cause I know I was fuming too, but **** *** this is a bad look.

Why? It's exactly why he was canned at UGA. They grew tired of his BS. And so will UM fans. This dude didn't magically change upon his arrival here.

You are absolutely wrong on this statement.
I live here in the Atlanta area and the following was the worst kept secret here in Georgia
South Carolina (after Spurrior quit) started to make overtures for Kirby Smart, UGA had been considering him since he was a former player, but the timing was not quite right. The major boosters at UGA started to feel if they did not get Smart at this time they actually loose him forever. There was also issues with the UGA administration meddling in the Athletic Department. Boosters who felt Bama and UG had passed them by, made it a point and used their influence to make the coaching change.
Several posters on here who also live in Georgia can back this up (as they have before)

So a guy who had never been a head coach in college was viewed as a better option than the guy who averaged 9-10 victories a year as their coach?

That speaks volumes about their opinion of MR.

Going back to your original post, bringing up someones religious beliefs in order to demean someone speaks volumes about your character or lack thereof.
If you have issues with his coaching philosophy and want to criticize him that is fine, comes with the territory. Speaking to his religious convictions is not only out of line, but has no business being brought up in a football message board

Richt sh*tted on Clemson and the offense at the same time. Boss move there.

If MR is going to talk about those religious beliefs and how it relates to him being a better head coach, then I am going to talk about how I view him as THAT head coach.

I am sure the Richt Nut Swingers will defend it.

That was a cowardly move.

a) you are obviously not a CMR fan... so your opinion is meaningless.
b) unfortunately I agree with you. It feeds into the flat underperforming attitude that was present against Pitt and Clemson. Agressive, agressive

What? I don't even think you understand what that's supposed to mean.

I was more ****ed he didn’t ask for a measurement. Also thought we got shafted on a spot earlier in the game that he should’ve challenged.

Yeah. Those Johnny Rebel good ol' boy conference referee's been STICKING IT UP Miami's, U Know What all season long!:11263726654_a089dab

I pointed out his cowardice in the Syracuse game. It was 4th and goal from the 1, early in the game, and he chooses to kick a FG.

Dudes a bible thumping whimp man. He has little to no personality and it manifests itself a lot over the season.

I can't believe people celebrated this dudes hiring.

its probably cause you're an idiot that you can't believe.

Considering I know a thousand more times about college football than your dopey ***, I stick to what I thought. Just because Shannon and Golden, and to a lesser degree Coker, sucked, doesn't mean I jumped for joy when they hired a dude who is fairly washed up as a head coach.

You guys can bust out the pom poms for MR, I will continue with my objections.

Didn't like it.
Why is this a thread?

Nevermind, just noticed who the OP was.
