I started watching Canes football in 1995 without much context to our history. So by the time this game happened I thought, “I’m a Canes fan but we suck”. This game was the worst. However, I’ll never forget Edge running all over UCLA which was the first time I saw things turning around.
 
Great thread. 2001 and 2003 were nice payback, but they were in Doak. An absolute drubbing hasn't happened at home in many, many years. It's time.
 
I was there. Stayed to the end. It SUCKED. 1988 is the only true beatdown of FSU at home that I remember. I really hope Richt beats the **** out of those bums.

Yeah im thinking this year is the year we witness a serious beatdown at home of those inbreds. They are terrible and we aint losing in the Rock. Trust me, i don't know how many on the board go to the games but this place will be a fortress.
 
I was thinking the same thing as I’ve watched FSU look terrible this season so far. My dad and I drove the 9 or so hours to and from this game from Miami, and that sure was a long drive home. I’ll never forget them blasting Scott Covington into the goalpost late in the blowout. Even when we had our streak of winning against FSU, other than the championship season, all our wins were close. FSU hammered us pretty hard in 1996 and 1998, in addition to the 1997 debacle. We owe FSU a true beat down and I sure hope we make that happen this year.

The first game I ever watched as a Miami Hurricane fan. I was eleven, and I was lectured by my stepfather at length at the greatness of the Miami Hurricanes.

Then, we watched the game.

"I thought you said they were good!"

My stepfather had me working outside for the rest of the day.

I want Willie to already have a prepared “lost” statement in his hand.

I want Francois to get bent like a pretzel by Willis.

I want to smoke them by no less than 28 points.

I want McKitty to envy Jordan and Mallory & try to sneak to our side of the field during the game like he made a mistake.

I want Jamarcus Chatman to feel like the biggest idiot on planet earth.

I want their recruits trying to hop on our bus begging for the NLI to be signed on the spot.

I hate FSU!
 
Their pathetic program needs to be buried. Toss dirt on it and send them six feet under.

They should be humiliated and beaten to a pulp. Cheap shots, late hits, run the score up and make sure everyone on their team is traumatized.
 
Worse Miami O-Line ever...that's why I laugh when b!tches ***** about the O-Line now.

They beat our *** so bad I never thought we'd be back.
 
Richt has a soft spot for FSU because of his coaching history, similar to Ed Orgereon versus us at LSU.
He will call off the horses if it gets too ugly, with a bunch of runs up the middle.

You think it was bad watching it on TV...or at game?...I stood right behind sidelines watching that debacle....The sanctions and lack of depth was at it's peak...and very apparent...
