They just took out the other guy with the same jersey the next punt...

Keep in mind.. we use to make ray ray wear the jersey when no other #5 jersey was in the game lol
I thought someone explained that you can't have players in the same position group(offense/defense) with the same number regardless if they're on the field at the same time or not. So because Scott has #5 and a punt return formation is technically a defense call, Ray Ray couldn't have #5.

Scott and ray ray are not in the same position group

Miami could easily take Scott out and have ray ray on the field for defense - thats not breaking a rule

I explained it last year and provided examples of it multiple times (during last season of teams doing it)

Did people think there was some other reason? Like that was his lucky jersey?

So every team in country does this? Seems like inside joke that Oline HC run on skill guys.. :big-sean:

Scott is a defensive player.... Ray Ray being a punt returner would technically make him a defensive player until he receives the ball.... no?

If they did that I would tell my team rip the numbers off during the play so they get a penalty for having the same number on the field.
I’m saying have your punt returner wear something like 35 when he’s playing WR, with the numbers attached with Velcro. Pull the 3 off when he returns punt, so he’s 5.
There’s no number to tear off that would put him in violation.
And it would be pretty obvious to the refs if they tried to pull the 5 off both front and back.

It’s not like you can purposefully pull a players helmet off to make them sit out a down and on a punt return, you’re one and done.

Lol bra....all they have to do is not have scott in the game on 4th down and Ray Ray could wear 5.. every other team in the country did it

Go look up all the wr's that returned punts last year without putting another jersey on and then look at the roster and youll see another player on defense with same jersey
