“TJ’s one of the most competitive kids I ever met. He wants to win at everything he does, and I think that’s one thing that separates him from his peers — that competitive nature,” Calvary coach Vic Morris said. “He’s a gym rat — usually in there 2-3 times a day working on his game. I lose a lot of sleep because of him.”

Jamison leads the Cavs in points (17.7), assists (5.6) and steals (2.7). He spent most of his summer improving his game in various ways including attending camps.

“I feel like I got better and learned a lot. I played under a lot of great people like John Lucas,” Jamison said. “He gave me some knowledge on what I can do better to improve my game – playing faster and getting ready for the high school season.”

Jamison sports a 3.6 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society. Saddled as the only boy in his family with four sisters, Jamison works out daily at 5 a.m., 2 p.m. and again in the evening. Probably helps to just get some quiet time.
