Recruiting and rational aren't a common intersection, but if he is serious about his development, I have a hard time processing how he would be better off in Auburn/Golesh system versus ours. We rely on our G to move people against their will, not just get in their way as we move the pocket and **** around on the perimeter. If he's living some SEC fantasy and wants to be in "that region," fine, Georgia, whatever, at least it makes football sense.
quick look at ga class and they have 6 ol committed currently

im not worried about recruiting with Mario. he finds a way.
My guess is the money will be added onto jacobs or we will pivot to a player already committed later in the process. Or ( and what would be smart ) is to use it to buy an instant starter from the portal. We need DTs we need more O lineman.

One of favorite players in the class. Get the Auburn talk, but hope Mario stays in this kid.

Jatori Williams opened up his recruitment when he decommitted from Miami last week to kick off a sweepstakes of southeastern schools vying for the four-star offensive lineman. First things first, Miami is still in play for the Phenix City (Ala.) Central interior lineman. The Hurricanes received a pledge from Williams back in May and highly value the Top 100 prospect, so they'll continue to recruit Williams and he'll remain open to hearing out the Hurricanes. In the meantime, four other schools will get official visits from Williams — he's only taken one official visit so far, to Miami over the summer — over the next month: Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, and Georgia.

–Alabama on Oct. 24
–Florida State on Oct. 31
–Auburn on Nov. 7
–Georgia on Nov. 14

It's also worth noting that Miami has two home games following the Georgia visit, so a chance to return to Coral Gables for an unofficial visit is viable if needed or wanted.

Auburn was initially slated for this weekend's upcoming game against LSU. From a schedule perspective, the later date made sense for Williams — who resides about 45 minutes south of Auburn — and also gives the Tigers a visit weekend closer to the Early Signing Period to make a lasting impression on Williams. And a dark horse in all of this is Florida State, which tried to get Williams on campus earlier this season and has a long-standing relationship with him. Job security is a factor here, and having a clearer sense of Mike Norvell's status with the university could move the needle in this recruitment.

Williams is expected to take all four official visits and will then enter decision-making mode.

It’s obvious he doesn’t want to go far away from home when you see FSU there. If this kid comes to Miami he would transfer the next season. The signs are there. We don’t need that. Move on. He is not the next coming of Quentin Nelson.

Seems like it. Not a culture fit. Not of the team but of the big city. Feels like he will get homesick in a year or so anyways

Kids wants to stay in the dirty south for college. He is a country kid. All good next recruit up

Please go to fsu. He reminds me of that Lucas guy many years ago
