“FSU is willing to pay me a fortune” is an easy sell
FSU just told us they didnt even have 68M to buyout their HC and they were in debt... LOL. But if that kid wants to believe them...so be it.

lol, aint even worried
This is what I like to refer to is “self-selecting”
Some kids— not saying it was this exclusively, but some kids don’t wanna put in the work- they don’t appreciate the value of having to earn something and maybe wanna easier road?
Then there’s the bags of $….
Maybe we dodged a later defection this way?

Let’s not trash him just yet, I always go back to Malachi Toney decommitting and then coming back into the fold.

Trust the staff and don’t give the player a reason to disqualify us.
I am not trashing him by saying I liked his potential but didn’t see him as day 1 contributor.

FSU on any list of a serious recruit right now has to be a troll job or an insane GTFOH NIL offer!

Miami got some surprising news on Tuesday when Phenix City (Ala.) Central Top100 offensive lineman Jatori Williams announced his decision to decommit from the program in order to explore options at Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, and Florida State. Williams is already expected in Athens this weekend to check in with the Bulldogs.

What happened?

Williams is one of the highest-graded offensive linemen this current staff has evaluated during their time at Miami. The Hurricanes have made Williams a top priority throughout the process. Miami has been extremely high on Williams and believed he had instant-impact potential in Coral Gables.

Alex Mirabal was in the Yellowhammer State last Friday to watch Williams play. I'm told the two had a 'good conversation' which lasted about 1.5 hours. There was no indication that Williams was planning to explore his options.

One thing I know after checking in is this--Miami has no intention of bowing out of this recruitment. Under Mario Cristobal, this program has a mentality that they're going to fight to the finish, whether that's on the field or in recruiting elite prospects, and that's the exact mentality of the program when it comes to Williams. He's going to be treated like a high-priority target, and Miami is going to battle to get him back.

From a Miami perspective, I get the sense that Williams communicated to the staff, as he decommitted, that he was still open to Miami and that he would consider them moving forward. We will see if that proves true, but the Hurricanes are going to grind this recruitment out.

Yeah, you're right. I understand fans only look at things from their perspective
Respect @JO Cane im waiting for a kid to come out and just say it’s reallly about setting myself and my family up considering the position we have been in… I would have so much respect for the kid but of course he would get roasted on social media! When we all know we have all had to make some decisions for family based strictly on finances.

Never good to lose a Top 100 player at a major position of need. Especially to Auburn. It’s why I worry about Keys also in the end.

No, it’s an easy sell when you’re posturing to get more money from an equally desperate team like Auburn.

This is always a risk when recruiting a nationally ranked player, especially when the kid is not local and/or hails from a completely different environment.

Imagine watching UM this year and having a spot locked up to join a team that has two of the best OL coaches in college and saying. "I think I need to take a step back and see what else is out there"

LOL Kids these days are so easily influenced.

Next man up.....

Any OL that would willingly shun what Mario/Mirabal have cooking to put their football career in the hands of that fat little Russian ginger at Auburn has some major issues upstairs

This is Alabama’s booster/nil finding some new found confidence in their head coach.

Sucks to lose him. Liked his game a lot and thought he would be an impact guy here. That said, I have questions about anyone turning down playing under Mario and Mirabal to go play at Auburn lol. Would have made a bit more sense if it was Bama but Auburn?!? These kids don't learn man.

So you are going to dump on people over an article being 100% the truth?

Yes, NOW we know that he is going to visit Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, and F$U. NOW we know.
