He would work well as a NT in UM's 2 gap system since we use them like defensive blockers anyway, lol.

In that video, he's playing some 3-4 on the DL, and compared to his OL film--just from body language, it looks like he enjoys DT quite a bit more. Looks like he's going thru the motions on the OL (and still playing well), but on the DL...he's smashing people and celebrating it.

I'd take him as a DT. ****, he even had nice moves rushing the passer from the DE spot.

To be fair, how often do you see OL celebrating after a great block? lol...just saying. I thought he brought the nasty at OL, but also impressive on the DL. Would be a great pick-up either way...killer versatility to have if he doesn't translate for some reason on one side of the ball...

That's a whole lot of guessing. My point is recruiting will never be a problem for them it's the coaching. They could fire the staff and still end up with a top 20 class. Auburn just did the exact same thing. But I'll get back to the subject of Norton though

So they'll fire the staff and bring in brand new guys to recruit kids that they possibly wont have committed considering they're ranked #50 in recruiting and magically finish in the top 20 because of their coaching that's going to get them fired? Ok, yeah now I think Nortons coming here

I understand OL don't really celebrate, not really what I meant. Watch the video, you'll see what I mean. It looks like as an OL, he just hit some kids and they went flying...and it was ho-hum. Plus, I didn't see him finish a kid, then go find another one to snack on at the next level that much. Good road graders at G normally do that. On D--****, dude was playing NT and DE some, and looked pretty good and explosive doing it--looked like to me he had more fun doing that too.


He'd be great at either position, but I think his passion defensively would allow him to be more successful as a DT.

Of our current list of DT's, with exception of Moten, who came more heralded than this kid? Remember we won Moten after he de-committed from the gayters. Fellas our past recruiting problems was due to 3 recruiting classes being hampered potential NCAA penalties. Can't you see we getting a lot of top notch recruits now!
