4-Star 2028 Safety CJ Craig-James Recaps Legends Camp Event, Eyeing Decision in Coming Months

Four-star (Birmingham, AL) safety CJ Craig-James is eyeing a commitment decision in the next few months after spending his Sunday down in Coral Gables for the Hurricanes annual Legends Camp.
"I’ve been traveling a long time visiting schools, so I plan to make a decision in the next few months instead of waiting [until] I’m a senior," CJ said.
He received an offer from the Hurricanes coaching staff back in March. Today was his first time on campus in Coral Gables since Miami has been actively pursuing the 6-foot-3, 185-pound safety.
CJ was blown away to be taught by coaches who had coached in the national championship game.
"It was the best part of the day! Being coached by a staff who just coached in a national championship game was great," he added. "Seeing all the legends and current players [was the best part of the event]."
He expressed that today's camp played a role in his recruitment with the Hurricanes. He stated Miami is in his top five schools.
"Miami is definitely a Top 5 choice for me," said CJ.
According to 247Sports, CJ is currently ranked as a high four-star prospect. He ranks as the No. 71 player in his class, No. 7 among safeties, and No. 5 in Alabama.
This past season at Parker High School, he accomplished a total of 37 tackles, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and four interceptions.
