CanesInSight spoke with upcoming four-star 2028 quarterback Kaden Craft, discussing the latest in his recruitment, where the Miami Hurricanes stand, and visits he has planned.
Craft, an upcoming junior quarterback who plays for Lake Norman in Mooresville, North Carolina, had an impressive sophomore season with the Wildcats, throwing for 1739 yards, 17 touchdown passes, and four interceptions.
According to the 247Sports Recruiting Rankings, Craft currently holds a four-star rating. Craft also ranks as the No. 107 player nationally, No. 8 quarterback, and No. 4 prospect out of North Carolina. Craft currently is listed at 6-foot-4, 210-pounds.
Craft expressed some of the top schools going the hardest after him: "The schools that are going the hardest right are Tennessee, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Michigan, Ole Miss, Oregon," stated Craft.
Even though the Hurricanes didn't make the list, Craft told CanesInSight that he wants to learn more about the program and that the school interests him: "I am really interested and I’m gonna keep building a good relationship with them."
Craft hasn't been on the Hurricanes campus yet, but he said if he ever does he will be looking for a good relationship: I haven’t been down there yet, but if I can get down there I look forward to building our relationship ," he said. He added, "I haven’t made any plans yet to visit Miami.
Craft currently holds a total of of 18 offers: Miami, Florida State, Alabama, Ole Miss, Oregon, Michigan, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Duke, Auburn, Georgia, among others. Craft has unofficially visited North Carolina, Virginia Tech, and Florida [old staff].
