Miami had one of the best 2028 cornerbacks on campus this past weekend for the Hurricanes' Legends Camp.
Four-star cornerback Jordan Hicks was inside the Carol Soffer Indoor Practice Facility learning from Hurricanes legends and camping out on Sunday.
Hicks, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound cornerback is out of Mission Viejo, California, where he plays for Mission Viejo High School. This past season, he racked up a total of 62 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, five pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and five interceptions.
After the visit, Hicks praised the Hurricanes position coaches: "[It] was great getting coached from Coach Jefferson and Coach Harris while also competing against the best," he said.
According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Hicks is currently viewed as a four-star prospect. The site also lists him as the No. 201 player nationally, No. 20 cornerback, and the No. 15 player out of California.
Hicks told CanesInSight that the Legends Camp event played a role in his recruitment with the Hurricanes, and he also plans on narrowing down his schools in the near future.
"For sure [it] made me look at the Miami [program] different and for sure, [it's a] school that l like," he added. "l will be narrowing down my options pretty soon."
