Coastal is super weak. UVA and Pitt are well-coached tryhard teams but sweeping that division should be a relative cakewalk for any legit program. Any competent coach would have Miami in the ACCCG competing every year. It's absurd that it's taken this long to figure out.
The CANES have a bad habit and patern of losing games that should be won after winning a big game. Seems like we run out of steam or just plain the psychological syndrome.

It seems that way but it boils down to the difference between winning with scheme vs. execution. Prior coaching staffs were stubborn about running "their system" all the time so naturally it looked better when the players were locked in, playing hard and winning matchups. When you have a good scheme you're not relying on 'execution' - drive blocking, isolation routes - as much because the team concept design is what drives success. You can still have mental errors but motivation doesn't factor in as much.
