Anybody got access to Canesport to see who Paul Williams is saying will play as a freshmen?

Both Redwine and Henley are burners/tracksters 10.6-10.7/100Meters who are long (the size these coaches love) and physical. Jaquan Johnson is Miami-Dade DB legend while Michael Jackson is said to have been the best DB in state of Bama.

Isn't the better question, why are 4 freshman being forced to play in Paul Williams' 5th year on the job? Shouldn't he by now have developed upperclassman to play and redshirt some of these freshman?

Redwine's best time is 11.2

Williams says that all three Freshman will play this season at CB because the unit needs the depth. He said that at this time some are not ready, but they better be by the start of the season.

In reference to Redwine, Jackson, and Henley:

"Right now we need them, they're going to play for us. Those guys as Freshman are playing."

"They aren't ready right now, but we are going to make them ready."

95% of Recruits WANT to play as freshman & contribute early. I doubt they were forced....

Of course the freshman want to play. At FSU, Bama and Oregon they have to wait because the players that are 21 and 22 are better than the 18 year olds. The same can't be said at Miami. The point is we have a position coach in his 5th season and has kids that he has coached for years being beat out by kids he hasn't coached fresh out of high school. What does that tell us?

Redwine does not run in the 10's for the hundred meters... He's like a mid 11 seconds guy...

and Henley dropped a 4.7.

These guys are not the elite athletes that you think they are.

95% of kids think they know what is good for them in life in general. You would hope they get good direction from an adult. That being said, since Golden has been here he has undoubtedly burned RS pretty negligently. He can blame the cloud for it all he wants but at the end of the day (no pun intended) that is on him.

Let's get back to my point regarding kids wanting to play right away. They shouldn't for the most part unless they will be playing at least a small amount of legit plays not counting special teams. Until we can start RS 70% of our freshman, I think we keep struggling. I may try and find pull stats but I would be shocked if the majority of successful teams don't have a heavy amount of kids that redshirt.
