Kevin Olsen was a pure Golden get via Jersey's strong connection and pipeline to Temple (Olsen's dad a HS coach).

His brother being a Cane might of helped.. just a tad.

Of course that was part of the package but you need to understand North Jersey football and in particular Wayne Hills Coach Chris Olsen and the long term (over 30 years) relationship with a number of players and coaches from colleges, the Giants and the NE Patriots as well (Many NFL staff and players lived in the area).
