4.5 months before ACC Network launches and...

As far as I can tell, only one streaming service has added the ACC Network to their basic package. That would be Sling. None of the others are even putting the network in their add-ons.

Contracts have already been signed. None of this makes any difference unless every cable, satellite, and streaming service adds the network.

We only get revenue from eyeballs. And we only get eyeballs from cable/satellite/streaming network additions.

I use Prime Streams as a streaming service, it does not have the ACC Channel loaded yet, but, I would bet on it that it will, it has SEC and every ESPN network on it now. I will look at it when it gets closer.

obviously, I'm just saying having winning teams is why people will watch

I am talking about streaming services only. Just checked and DirectTV and Hulu do not show them in their basic package. don't have time right now to check all of them. They may wait until the ACC network is up and running before actually showing them in their adds.

We can say that, and it sounds nice.

But the reality is that SEC fans will watch the SEC Network, the Big 10 fans will watch the Big 10 Network, etc.

Most of the games on the ACC Network will be non-premium football/basketball games. I am hoping that it will be great for baseball.

It will also be nice to have a year-round outlet for news, etc.

I will watch the channel regularly, but we should be realistic about how many people will watch.

And who knows, maybe Miami would then have a way of actually being able to let fans watch the spring game
 
I do think they’ll have a Finebaum type show as that is partly what makes the SECN exciting to fans. I agree with David Archer and the rest of the crew; I think they would make a fine addition to the new ACCN. I checked DirecTV and it will carry the new network so I’m stoked to get to see more Canes sports, especially baseball.

Jon Michaels is great. He got dumped because he had the misfortune of being paired with Rick Kamla, who was as awful as it gets.
 
If carriage problems become severe, all it will take is for ESPN to put Miami-FSU and/or Duke-UNC Hoops on the ACC Network and let the public outcry begin.

This is probably what’s happening. DirectTV And Hulu have already anounced deals with the ACCN.

Wes Durham has a radio show with some other guy, and it will be on the channel
