If you play series in baseball with the exception of mid week games, why is rpi in baseball game by game? It seems silly when you play 55 games. Like yeah we should’ve swept Pitt n gt but why get knocked down for losing one game in a series?

Lack of uniformity in weekend series doesn’t help either. Some schools schedule occasional four game series, rainouts can cut series to two games or even one, and some series (Clem/S Car) are played at multiple sites. The cleanest way is to just handle each game.
