All good, except the Canes beat ND at South Bend in 1984. So a little more recent than 1979, but not by much
 
One thing that doesn’t scare me is their receivers. Faizon is good but not a world beater. Greathouse is a good possession guy. Other than that. Meh. Their backs are good but not anything special

If they are able to slow down Mali like Clemson did then hopefully we are ready to run all over them or barkate and Upshaw are ready to pick up the slack
 
ND is going to be desperate. And the environment will be insane. They are gonna give us problems with pressure. PITT dropped Mensah 3 times in 1st half, with the front 7 and CBs that ND has.

Dawson has to operate under the assumption they going to pressure the OLine hard, and sit real tight on short pass game and screen game.

Hoping he reimagines a creative way to create chances to win over the top a few times “EARLY” on in this game. Would like to see Mensah continue to build some downfield chemistry with Dre Jacobs against UNC. Take 3-4 shots downfield to let them develop some timing, cause we may need that ace up our sleeve.
