What were your Canes goals after the half? Here is mine

During halftime I was saying if the Canes come out and hold Virginia to 7 pts and we score 14 in the 3rd and another 14 in the 4th that I would not say a word.

When the Canes came out to start the 2nd half and messed up that opening drive with the blocked punt and Virginia went up 28-14. It really freaked me out because I was thinking in the back of my mind that this may be one of those days when nothing goes right. But I said again, if they can get me 14 in the 3rd and 14 in the 4th I would not say a word.

I be **** if our Canes not only put up 17 in the 3rd but another 13 in the 4th.

At 28-14 I was just laughing and saying to myself we got them right where we want them(half nervously but half knowing we could come back). Then at 28-21 I knew this team was going to win.

They just give off that vibe this year. They are not going to give up and close games to them are nothing to worry about. .

I was jokingly thinking the same: "well we have them overconfident now."

When the pick 6 came I was like thank you Jesus. Plus Diaz finally adjusted and stopped leaving the flats open

That pick made me think that the QB that we made look like Joe Montana in his prime just looked like an average Joe on that throw. Why he threw it I have no idea, but was jumping out of my chair happy that he did.

Was going to be a heart medicine game after the last two weeks and the way that UVA QB was playing. Not panicked or calling for heads down at half or when UVA scored early third quarter. Felt good to come right back and make it 28-21, Plus it is comforting that this team has found itself in tight ballgames all year and the coaches see, to make halftime adjustments that work. Nice to win going away, though. No 4th and 9, down 6, with 32 seconds left needed. This team has got some serious mojo workin’.

Always great to peak at the right time

I was being a schizoaffective bipolar pussoir and posting some whiny **** on the game day board. I was called out for it and was happy to eat crow. However, I am superstitious and ever since I've been declaring a definite loss after we go down early in games, we end up winning. So guess what I'll be doing if we go down early against Pitt? Sorry in advance. Got to keep this train on the tracks!

The first goal after the half, keep Benkert in the pocket. Second, turn the pass rushers loose, the third goal, tighten up the coverages. There were a couple of harrowing moments still the punt block, the pick 6 that UVA's db dropped, and the 2nd int by Malik but we weathered the storm and pulled it out by closing 30-0.

This team plays down to its competition. They give vanilla efforts, then when needed, sprinkle a touch of coco to get by. When the lights r bright, they show out. Honestly, we play Clemson, we might blow them out. The only pause for concern will be the refs, but this team seems to thrive being underdogs against big named opponents. Get the CFP and truly, we have a legit shot at a national title and I thought I would never say that this soon.

The effort will be much better at Pitt. Mark my words. Theres going to be a TON of bad film & *** chewings this week
