I didn’t need to read the list to know there would be no Miami guys. You could bump that list size to 100 and it’d be the same. Therein lies the problem. The post-Miami careers for the large majority of our former staff are pretty bleak.

This list is actually pretty legit. They've made some good calls on coaches in the past that have moved up.

Kenny Dillingham now at Auburn just single handedly beat Bama.
Charlie Weis Jr has done well at FAU and looks like he'll go with Lane wherever he ends up or get picked up by a bigger program. FSU? Mizzou?

Not saying these are HC candidates but it's legitimate list that shows it's not hard to make smart, low-cost hires. You just have to have a competent AD that hires a competent HC.
