1. Certainly not an old fart but I am not young buck either and I have never seen a football team on TV that has ever looked as confused on both sides of the ball as this team. I don't care if you got screwed with the NCAA or if your recruits are not panning out whatever other excuse you can come up with but this is year 5 and this team is a direct representation of its leaders' ability to coach. Whatever they are coaching is not being understood and that means you just can't coach.

I seriously think for the first time the best thing would be to let Ice take over the team and have them run high school sets until the season ends. Ice would do it for do it for a book of McDonalds coupons. At this point its tarnishing the brands image and is costing you more money than Al's buyout to let him or the coordinators complete the season.

2. Also I havent seen anyone say anything about the obvious false start no call on Cooks 2nd touchdown. Not like that would have made a diff but am I the only one who saw that. Bout broke my TV.

1. Agreed. Except for the Ice part. You think he's ready to take over all facets of this program. The next guy in has to clean up the mess and energize the program again. We're 6-7 weeks from that beginning to happen.

2. Please. Cook is still running. Forget penalties and home cookin'. Since when does a team that sucks get calls?

3. Agreed, he needs to go, and take his wingman with him. Not a good fit.

The RBs are actually very well coached and that was evident yesterday in their steps and pass pro (at times). We don't have an RB with the game-breaking ability to overcome some of our scheme and OL issues and FSU's talent/speed.
 
Ice works within Cooley's so called system.

I was merely using Ice because he is a high school coach and he would make things simple. Its completely obvious that everything is to complex right now for the players on the field.

That time the dude ran on the filed while it was being hiked was a perfect display. The refs was seriously acting like he had never seen anything that amateur ever before and was actually mad.

**** no Ice isn't a head college coach. I am saying let him run high school O and D so the kid's can understand it.

On just about everyone of Cooks big runs one of linebackers were looking on the sidelines while the ball was hiked and at least one down linemen wasnt ready to bounce. Thats all Cook needs to bust it out. if your one step behind when he has the ball there aint no catching up and our guys were one step behind when the ball was hiked.

Nor is Golden, D'Onofrio, nor Pinga.
 
Then again FSU used the stand up , jump around defense that Louisville embarassed us with in the Cit Bowl...You would think after two years someone would know how to counter it..

I did see a lot of holding from FSU...

Also, did anyone think Cook stepped out of bounds on the 72 yard TD?
