According to the On3 recruiting rankings, he is currently viewed as a three-star prospect. The website also ranks him as the No. 568 player nationally, No. 26 among athletes, and No. 75 player in Florida.

CanesInSight spoke with the upcoming junior about his recruitment, where the Miami Hurricanes stand, and the top schools pursuing him.

"I can’t wait to be back in the 305, they show me a lot of love especially Coach Hetherman and Coach Tucker," Morillo told CanesInSight.

Chris told CanesInSight that there are currently three schools pursuing him the hardest in his recruitment: "I would say going hardest on my recruitment is Alabama, Tennessee, and FSU," he added. " [Miami is] definitely a Top 5 school on my board."

Chris also previewed his visit to Miami tomorrow for the Hurricanes' Legends Camp event: "Being able to compete against some of the best talent across the country will definitely help me perfect my craft."
