3 players, 1 scholarship

Great thread this is a tough one do you take the elite wideout to take your offense to another level omg. Do you take the stud olinemen who make be a mount McKinnie type. Do you take Robinson a guy with uber upside. My vote if coley is legit as everybody says then we will be pretty **** good next year

you don't need a dominant WR on your team to dominate CFB.. You need dominant OL/DL thats why you see Bama,LSU **** look at UF this year sorry offense and no WR's and they finished 3rd and 11-1 on the season. Jordan Reed led the team in yards and rec and he's a TE... Cooper emerged in the middle of the year and he's a freshman and he's not a dominant number 1 rec yet... In the college game you can win titles with an average wr core full of 2's and 3's but with beasts on your OL/DL will win you games and titles.

+1
Not only in college but also in NFL. Look at the 49ers. Their OL is the envy of the league and it is the main reason why they won last night against Green Bay.

I agree but my thought process was just next year. Coley is the only one capable of starting and getting big minutes

That's cool, but the goal is to be better than Bama and LSU, not just as good as them

Unless you come into a game against them with comparable lines, you'll get smoked off the field.

oh ok i agree with that. OL should never play as true freshman unless your freaks like Seantrel, even Flowers should have RS..

Easy answer: Kirkland.

- His decision, whether we like it or not, is at least minimally linked to Matthew Thomas
- As I've outlined in previous posts, in 2014, he'll likely be needed the same way Isadora is needed this year. He may be even more important if Sunny and Gadbois don't develop and Feliciano can't kick outside.
- While it's not as simple as "trenches > skill position," it is as simple as "where do we live and what area is easier to recruit?"

Very easy question, very easy answer.

The game is also won and lost on the lines. A good line makes others (average RB, WR and QBs) look much better. You watched what a crappy D-line can do to a defense.

Kirkland: need to dominagte the trenches. Watching these athletic QB's and also the short passing game, you need to have fast athletic LBs to get stops. Obviously we need to sign 6 and and as a bonus Williams. Biggest need must gets.

I didn't consider the Thomas factor when I made my choice, fwiw

Big thing, I think. Thomas is one of the top talents to come out of this state in the last 5 seasons. Weird impact guy.

You know what's even crazier?

These guys are directly linked to Chad Thomas, who may be a top 5 player in the state next year. Chad has mentioned how he wants to play with them.
