We used to take advantage of the same ****. All the top schools can do it. But only one man has done it and has 6 or 5 chips to show for it. Schools have VASTLY different budgets, they have VASTLY different levels of booster support, they have VASTLY different abilities to provide bags, they have VASTLY different levels of support locally, they have VASTLY different leadership, etc. Due to all of this, you can't just say "hey this guy won the most, he must be the best". Saban has the best of everything in every single category which makes his job 100x easier than most coaches', therefore, when accounting for that, you realize his job is MUCH easier than most.

You're right that it's not a debate, but Saban is NOT the GOAT.

Schools like Texas **** even Texas a&m, ND OU, OSU etc have access to the same support u mentioned..that’s if they had THAT GUY..that open up them purses quicker then a fat girl opens them legs on prom night..Alabama didn’t make Saban, Saban made Alabama. U put him at Texas, LSU, UF, UGA, OSU in his prime he duplicates the same type of longevity of dominance..only coach on his level is Urban..and y’all hate on him too lol

GOAT at what? Certainly not the goat at recruiting.

Certainly not coaching since he cheats and has an unlimited staff as analysts (a couple were P5 head coaches and could’ve easily been coordinators or head coaches when they were fired from their original job).

He’s the GOAT at developing a system at a school, in a conference, and a fan base that encourages and protects its Golden goose. He would never have Michigan state rolling like this.

Barry Jackson would have an expose in a month if UM did half the stuff bama does.

When their given the overall number one ranking before the season even starts annually and allowed to conduct themselves in any mischief they desire this is what you get. Like anyone really wants to go to Tuscaloosa Alabama. I love 45 minutes from there. The place is a dump and the school is gobbich. Get rid of Mark Emmert and watch Saban retire and the honeymoon end. Sick of it already. The fact that Fields isn’t even considered a top 5 finalist is crazy to me. Any QB with a $500k offensive line could be Mac freakin Jones. Guy has four and a half hours to throw.
