Tom Herman makes $1.5M and Fuente makes $1.4M.

They'd be getting a $1M raise if they came to Miami and got the same salary we paid Golden.
 
Take it for what it's worth from a Tennessee fan. Hire a proven coach and don't look in the bargain bin.

Bring Butch, write smaller check, and start renegotiating your shoe deal for some real money.
 
What if Butch offers to take the job for $1 mil?

Those guys may be great coaches, but not neccessarily proven just yet.

That being said, if y'all could land either then go for it.

I just don't know about hiring Butch Davis...
 
Calculate how many dollars per win it cost us with Golden.

Then think about how many dollars per win we'll get with Butch.

Even if Butch gets $2.5 to $3.0 million, he's a sure enough, for certain, guaranteed bargain.
