3 Canes in the XFL

I think this is a major factor hurting our recruiting. We have no guys recently that we can point to that we developed and put in the league aside from our history of TEU. Calais Campbell is our last elite player left. Other than that we just have some solid starters ( rayshawn, Perryman, duke) but nobody we can point to and say “ that’s our guy and now he’s a impact player in the nfl”

Our backups will start leaving for the XFL after their 2nd year. Will be asked to respect their decision. Lingard types will be all over this XFL.

Rogers had a major knee injury. Coley was just never as good as SoFla locals thought. Dude has 0 NFL catches to his name and he's talked about like an absolute legend.
Coley was one of our most productive receivers in the last decade at the college level, only had one bad year when he was injured but productive in all of the other years. Was fast, explosive and had hands the only knock on him was that he was fragile but played through it. Still don’t understand why he went that low in the draft but it is what it is. Hope he succeeds there

Conversely you can say he's small, close to the bottom 1/3rd percentile of athletes for NFL WRs, old for his class (19.5 as a freshman), and doesn't excel in any one particular area. He went low in the draft because he's just not very good. He got production with Kaaya the same way Rashad Greene was a force with Jameis Winston.

I think all Highseas was saying is that he has done jack ish in the NFL and everyone is SoFla still talks about him like a legend. No one is disputing he had a good college career, prob top 5 in all major WR stats in the history of UM, was an FSU killer (14 catches, 220 yds and 3 tds in his Jr and Sr year) and I still remember his reverse run against Pitt and the time he split the F@ck out of those Vtech defenders.

Has It gone down hill ? Yeah but No program can sustain the level of players we were putting out. With that being said we are still putting pros into the league and is top 3 in players on active nfl rosters. If you recruit better, win more games you will have more premium draft picks it’s simple
