2x QBs Spread option....

If it bothers some of your simple minds.... let me flip it around on you...

What if you bring/recruit an RB who is also a proficient passer?

Make you feel better?

My theoratical question still is-- what happens to opposing defenses when you have 2 players capable of running and passing?

It blows the playbook wide open and is going to be tricky for defenses to figure out but the risk of the spread option just increased 2x

Ask Paul Johnson how effective it is.

So imagine 2 dual-threat QB's in every play... QB1 in the traditional spread-option role and QB2 in the RB position:

You have 2 potential runners who are also capable passers. EITHER option can mean run or pass....

Opposing defenses would be absolutely FROZEN because they will never know which option is happening when.

Has anyone every seen this in actual use?
Sums up my answer for the OP

Never seen that before. Actually pretty cool. Always like outside the box thinking. It's just a game. Why not try some ****? lol
It’s just a game until someone calls for the jobs of the people in charge of said organization of the game..and it gets so far that on a free message board a person with screen name of @305_separatist decides to take matters in his own hand and start a fundraiser to let his discontent of the situation be heard..gaining followers of guys named @NicKane and others...figuring its a scam ppl of said free internet messag board demand receipts..mister separatist provides unbeknownst to him that it was a setup to have his plan tarnished..in his shame he decides to go vacation with the fundraising money (heard it was Hawaii)..but to save face he somehow convinced a couple 8th graders to decorate a poster board with his message and a postmates driver (heard coach Stubbs had the driver held at Gun point) drive around miami to make sure his message was heard...clearly bro..this not just a game

You must love @305_separatist and what not huh?

Why stop at 2, why not 11 QBs on the field at once

No, not eleven. Two's the key number. Two chipmunks twirling on a branch, eating lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch. You know that old children's tale from the sea. It's like, you're dreaming about gorgonzola cheese when it's clearly brie time baby. Step into my office...

Takes a lot of time to hand off then have that guy throw a pass, so my question to you is this...who tf do you envision blocking for these two yahoos while they prance around in the backfield?

So we wait 20 years to get a good QB & good OC & we wanna run a gimmick nonsense offense. We deserve what we get.

Paul Johnson used to do some of that in his triple option.
