**** poor QB play and a terrible offensive line doesn’t do much for an offense. I know we don’t want to hear this but **** how can an offense make plays, sustain drives, and move the ball when the QB cannot complete passes longer than 10 yards and the offensive line cannot move defenders and sustain blocks.

I know; how about motion. How about jet sweep. How about screen passes. How about TE screens. How about WR screens. How reversed? I mean, there’s so many things that can be incorporated that can move the defense around while protecting the OL.

Bro, I’m not trying to be a jerk. But how does motion, jet sweeps, and TE/WE screens mask our OL problem? The DL gets penetration on every snap. Also, if OL can’t get out on RB screens no way will they get out to block on TE screen.
A bad OL kills an offense.

Our OL gets t’d off on b/c our offensive philosophy is simple. It doesn’t keep a def off balance. U protect an OL by keeping a def honest. We don’t, like at all.

So the front four of a DL is kept off balance by being kept honest from our offense? I never heard of that.
100% correct!!! This is also why BCs offense was so effective tonight. They kept the defense on their heals with a mix of calls. Something Richts offense is incapable of doing.

If the front four have more responsibilities then just pinning their ears back, then it keeps them honest. U saw what happened to our front 4 today, didn’t u? Compare today v what we faced against UVA. The difference was BC gave us multiple things to concentrate on. No different than GT coming up. Speaking of...oy vey.

What you’re describing, keeping DL’s honest, is what teams do to us every single game. We have the worst concepts and playcallers

The turnover chain and feasting on weak competition has been masking our basic O for 3 years.
Richt is the pro-style equivalent of GT’s Paul Johnson. When teams aren’t prepared, or are overmatched, things are great. But when they’re prepared, our OL looks like they’ve never been taught to block and our QBs are liabilities.

What do you think BC did to Miami’s D?
Do you think our OL and offensive talent is worse then Wake and Temple? They put up 34 and 35 pts vs that mediocre BC D.
Richt is as bad as Patrick Nix as an OC. Far worse then Coley, who is a WRa coach at UGA
