265 Yards of Offense

Disaster hire. Not only in the W/L column but in how people perceive our team. Recruiting is hard when you lose, but it’s **** near impossible when you lose AND you’re extremely boring. I don’t think we could have done much worse.
Who wins the Red River shootout?

Maybe more importantly, is it just me or is Ehlinger developing into a great QB? Can we steal anyone from that staff?

If Perry hits some of those deep passes, our total yards go wayyyyy up. He had guys open, but missed them.

Still, we just look anemic at times. Too few passes to Jordan or Mallory. Too much playing right into a D's strengths, BY DESIGN.

Couple of missed plays with overthrows and drops, couple head scratching playcalls and we played the defense with the #2 sacks in the nation. Lmao y’all unrealistic *** fans again

ND got 322 against those guys even with UVA turning it over 5 times.

Enos didn’t call a good game but that’s a good defense. Luckily ours was better

Absolutely correct! The vast majority of the these Hurricane fans tend to not know about the Hurricane's opponents. Virginia had a very good defense coming into the game. Heck, I believe there's two or three 1st/2nd NFL selections starting on their defense.

It cuts both ways regarding pass completions. Because Miami's receivers dropped at least three passes in the 1st half. Which would have EXTENDED drives.

"Just be happy with the win" zombies are out in full force.
They can sit threw 3 hours of some of the worst football ever played, and because we somehow ended up with a W, they all of a sudden think the sky is full of rainbows and they are riding a unicorn without a saddle.

While the offense wasnt that hot, its important to keep in mind --

1. UVA is a Top 15 team in terms of total defense. They're not just some scrub squad.

2. Enos' playcalling was all over the place. Didnt get into a groove until the last 2 drives.

3. Receivers did the Qb no favors with their effort.

Uva has a good defense. The o wasn’t good and play calling was suspect as usual but this wasn’t a bad defense by any means

Yes mighty ND scored multiple touchdowns against Virginia, but one of those TD's was an offensive turnover and the other TD was a SHORT FIELD TD. Enter VA. TECH's three short field scores.

He was running Brevin Jordab im like wtf we gets pushed on the line running east and west aint going to work even with JT4.

I watchex Oregon and they can pull it off they got fast guys and a better roster.

Its absurd man. We are so poorly coached in every area. I love wins like everyone else but we arent good.

Of course we all want manny to turn Miami around. We arent hoping he fails but nothing looks improved.

The play calling was so bad it was nearly unbelievable.

He is approaching Nixian levels.

He’s just not a good play caller and his scheme does not properly utilize our talents

Oh and they call it the SHORT side of the field for a reason.
Some of his play calling is questionable - as is everyone's.

I've just watched the condensed game though and I'm really not sure what you're meant to call with this Oline. You're almost restricted to calling Air Raid stuff, which is one dimensional and backfires.

Ain't gonna cut it.

The worst team in division I football averages 267.

Congrats to Manny and his side of the ball winning this game completely on their own. Huge improvement over there.

On the flipside, a big what the **** to Manny for saying he wants a fast-paced, cutting-edge offense and then forcing us to watch this guy call plays like we're a 90's Bill Parcells team. That'll get recruits' blood flowing.

1. Bench Zion.
2. Start Perry
3. Tell Enos if he runs anything under center or with more than one TE he's a f'ing dead man.

Save the season, Manny.

Don't disagree but you don't pay a guy a million to be your underling. Either Enos solves it or he is gone by season's end.
Then you can go after your spread guy.

Perry's ability to avoid the pressure was a big key. If jarren was in there more sacks happen and we lose.
