Corey Hetherman has landed his first linebacker as the defensive coordinator at UM with 2026 JJ Edwards out of Orlando, Florida; flipping him from Rutgers.

No doubt. Nothing screams trust the evals like 26 wins in 5 seasons for his 2nd Rutgers stint.

A little confusing after watching the highlights... I thought we were looking for more size and pop at LB. But he's a smaller guy, and in nearly 4 minutes of highlights, I counted 2 tackles that weren't wrap/drag downs or from behind.

He has played lb for one year. Tested at a really really high percentile. I bet you by signing day he is a massive riser.

Way less physicality in his tackling than Pruitt. Pruitt's highlights he looked like a smaller guy who hit big. Edwards' highlights look like a smaller guy who hits small.
