Honesty he has been the biggest issue in the secondary first few games.

Blown assignments, slow to react, etc...

Hopefully it’s a youth thing.

But but but Saban!! Everyone used the same excuse to assure themselves he was a star just like Penos because Saban "wanted them". So tired of reading that BS as instant validation for them on here. All **** summer it was repeated

It isnt just that saban wanted him, everyone did and with reason. Safety is a hard position to teach. So when you find someone that just gets it at a young age, they're special. Gurvan had that **** in HS. What bothers me about watching him play lately is hes regressed as a football player here. How sure if he has something going on or maybe him and Banda arent on the same page but hes not making simple plays youd expect out of a player of his caliber. He understands he's the last line of defense but tackles like its thud in practice.

Absolutely cannot open your hips as a defender when there's still a 10 yard cushion between him and the receiver, was not threatened at all at that point

Is it normal to have this many GAs step into coaching roles at other schools?

Banda and Patke need to both go back to bartending at The Clevelander. Two useless dingleberries hanging on the asshairs of our last 15 years of irrelevance.

Saban landed a helicopter on this kids HS field while recruiting him.

I’m gonna bet money that the kid is good, but hasn’t developed at Miami.

I have to admit that he looks average at best. Slow to react and doesn’t fill lanes well. He doesn’t play with any excitement. It’s funny because if he was at Alabama he would be all world. I don’t get that at all. We miss JJ and Redwine for sure.
