Did Cody Brown count as a portal transfer for '22? Assume Justice does.

No matter the case, this will free up the gridlock in the portal for some. They still need to address the 85 counter limit for next August.

As I understand the cap is 25 still. If a player transfers out you get a +1 per player that transfers out.
So if 2 players transfer out of the program you now can take 27 players instead of the 25.

That's the way I'm reading it also. But why is this temporary? Are they just giving it a year so they can work out all of the details before it is made permanent?

Never enrolled at Tennessee. Should be a High School recruit, not a transfer.

Put all these Jags in the portal and get some real players in here. Can’t get right huff and revolving door Hillery need to open up some spots.

This helps Miami, VT, and FSU more than Bama and UGA. None of the power schools have run into the 25 cap on a regular basis. Miami of all schools benefits the most with our culture of 3 and done. Thus now means the average kid can be on campus for just over 2 years for us to have 85 kids! In the past 9 years, we haven’t been able to get to 85.
