I think they're waiting until they sweep in late and just bid enormous amounts of money.

Right now, every commit to a football team is non-binding if the right price is met. And Texas has **** you money, so they can come in late, ask for the highest bid and just top it.

It's the reversal from the Aggie strategy, which is a great call.

Legit talent evaluator we have now, so the nerds have to check the tape again when we go all out for someone. Now the boost in players rankings are deserved cause we proved we have one of if not the best eval guy in the country in Mario
 
I had to scroll to load more teams to find FSU. Currently 51 right behind wake but ahead to that power out west in Arizona State

Yeup; they are about to land a monster today in Kasi Currie who decided to make a commitment before officially visiting Oregon and Ohio State. In turn, that puts them at an advantage for landing the commitment of his teammate Marcus Fakatou.

Yup. Manny was a god awful talent evaluator outside of like Rousseau. That’s his downfall

I don't think they will finish outside the top 20 (Alabama) but something is very different in their recruiting. They have to actually work on getting players like everyone else. Gone are the days of a blue blazer doing it all.

Yes but it wasnt totally false. Bain we were on them about, they put him at #71 and #10 edge. So they did have historic bias. Now they are changing it.

Like i said, some of it was warranted. But also i think we were locking into what players were rated going into Junior years, now you can see it was an error because players are still developing plus some of them junior films were not evaluated, some start going to camps late etc.

Yea true. Bain I remember being the top dog man, we and bama recruited him as the best edge. That’s a dude that goes to the sec if Mario isn’t here. No one can convince me otherwise, idc if his name was hurricane Bain he would have been sec bound. I seen dudes with Auburn tats go to bama. Glad we got Mario when we did
