The people who are making the “I’m not defending Gattis,
but..” arguments are defending him lol.
They just know they don’t really have anything substantial to actually ground the argument in, so they’re attempting to say our players are so bad that they’ve actually made Gattis’s Offense worse, which is tangentially hilarious because even teams like North Texas, Georgia Southern, FAU, Ohio (not Oh ST, the Ohio Bobcats), UTSA, UTEP & Tulsa all have better Offenses than us.
Not what I’d love for someone to do is try to make an argument that FAU or North Texas has more talent or a winning
Culcha
The best swerve I’ve seen all season is people trying to convince the board that you can’t have a functional offense without a team with over 50+ 5-stars lol
I mean Washington is in year ONE & of Kalen DeBoer’s tenure, brand new QB, not a loaded roster by any stretch of the imagination, definitely can’t make the Culcha argument in that situation either because they were 4-8 last year with Jimmy Lake getting fired a week after he was suspended for physically accosting one of his players & they very clearly had a toxic locker room...
But somehow they’re still 6-2 with a top 3 ranked Offense

...
I wonder how they managed to pull that off?

...
Probably has nothing to do with the HC/OC though
