247 taking the Offensive in support of Gattis

Let me be clear I am not defending gattis but all this lashlee **** is getting old people act like we won titles in his two years here. Gattis is definitely not the answer but I do like the approach of a power spread with a dominant run game. It is what you have to have to compete at a national level. I guess if some of you are satisfied with 7 or 8 wins a year with all the padded stats of a QB that throws 50 times a games then SMU( who's is 4-4) could use some more fans. If we want to be dominant again it is going to be a roster rebuild with some asst coaching changes. I would bet lashlee would still win no more than 9 games with Mario's year 2 roster.
Any team with a good-to-great defense pushed Lashee’s chit in.

Clemson, Alabama, Michigan State…

RedZone offense inside the 10 is horrendous. That's on the play caller who basically dials up a bunch of run up the middle plays. Hmm, isn't that Gattis? It certainly cannot be the players going against their OC...

Some of Y'all all jare ust silly. Use anything and even make up **** to fit the narrative you want.

You were calling for Lashlee's head at one time before TVD took off.
.
Have realistic expectations for year 1 and a ton of injuries.

Some of this **** is just comical.
My realistic expectations are to not be ranked in the 100s for anything

Clemson fans actually despised Elliot. The last time they were happy with their offense Scott was coaching it.

Anyway, if you don't even know the basic X and O's enough to decipher the poor job Gattis is doing, theres plenty of resources from people who do.

Check out the OBB podcast. They can breakdown specifically why this offense just isn't going to work the way its being called... Rosier, coming from the most basic Richt offense, pointed out on there that the routes concepts are completely predictable and unimaginative.

Sometimes people actually know what they're talking about on here.

Gattis routes are found diagrammed on the tots football from Walmart

I didn’t know @Dr.L.ThugU worked at 247

Well Gattis gets his pushed in by everybody………soooooo.

MSU didn’t push his **** in , his starting qb was playing with multiple injuries from Bama. That leaves Clemson and Bama.
Fine. 2 for 3….and yes, Gattis is awful and I don’t think I’ve posted otherwise.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this is to counteract the social media posts put out by The OBB account. One of them put a tweet out basically calling for Gattis to be fired now. There’s a link to an article explaining the rationale. It’s been said on their podcasts but that tweet got a lot of attention…

For argument sakes, I want someone to intelligently defend Josh Gattis and why he should be retained. Instead of scapegoating the players, I’d really like to see someone bang the table for Gattis
The people who are making the “I’m not defending Gattis, but..” arguments are defending him lol.

They just know they don’t really have anything substantial to actually ground the argument in, so they’re attempting to say our players are so bad that they’ve actually made Gattis’s Offense worse, which is tangentially hilarious because even teams like North Texas, Georgia Southern, FAU, Ohio (not Oh ST, the Ohio Bobcats), UTSA, UTEP & Tulsa all have better Offenses than us.

Not what I’d love for someone to do is try to make an argument that FAU or North Texas has more talent or a winning Culcha

The best swerve I’ve seen all season is people trying to convince the board that you can’t have a functional offense without a team with over 50+ 5-stars lol

I mean Washington is in year ONE & of Kalen DeBoer’s tenure, brand new QB, not a loaded roster by any stretch of the imagination, definitely can’t make the Culcha argument in that situation either because they were 4-8 last year with Jimmy Lake getting fired a week after he was suspended for physically accosting one of his players & they very clearly had a toxic locker room...

But somehow they’re still 6-2 with a top 3 ranked Offense 👀...
I wonder how they managed to pull that off? 🤔...
Probably has nothing to do with the HC/OC though 🤷🏽‍♂️

Why do fans think a year 1 coach is supposed to knock it out of the park implementing a new scheme and doing so with an injured roster?

That's the exception.

STOP being dillusional.
It’s not about knocking it out of the park as a first year head coach. what most fans are upset about is that Miami looks like a FCS school and a bad one at that.

You can argue all you want but the proof is on the field.

this is by far the worst Miami team I’ve seen in 20 years or more.

He's absolutely right, Gattis is a fantastic OC and I wouldn't be surprised to see him be a HC somewhere next season. Preferably he doesn't waste a minute and forgoes the bowl game to get things rolling with his new team. I wish him all the best.
Bowl game?
