How in the world are we that undisciplined? Have we ever had that many penalties in a game? Simply Amazing. The next guy will clean house because that was horrible.

Totally unacceptable. complete lack of preparedness and coaching. This doesn't happen to well coached teams.
 
Yes, but I think some of those PI's and some of the offsides we're suspect. However it was still an awful showing of discipline!
 
Lol the guy just got hired sunday. Anyone that knows anything about the situation shouldve expected errors and penalties. His main focus was to get a high level of energy out of those kids. If you make a mistake, move on and go to the next play, dont dwell, be loose. Thats the old miami way. Im sure the penalty issue will be addressed for next week but cut the guy some slack
 
They tried to cheat and let Duke win, glad we got a call that went our way man. I was throwing sh*t everywhere in the house when Duke scored that last touchdown man... Woooo!!!!!! Let's go CANES!!!!
 
We played an undisciplined game, as we have all season, but this crew was way over zealous in calling penalties against us. That second pass interference call against Corn was terrible. Both guys were fighting for position which is permissible.

Still slightly confused about the block in the back call. Then picked up after review? They didn't review that right, just discussed? But whatever, enjoying the win.
 
There were a lot of questionable penalties called on us. But I feel like it was just a yellow-fest in general, duke seemed to be getting called on stuff too. But 23 penalties is preposterous
 
The OP probably never watched the '91 Cotton bowl - Miami vs. Texas

To put it simply, we racked up more penalty yards than they had offense. During the first half. LOL

It's also famous for the Thrill Hill shooting pistols in the tunnel moment.

Dude, we were penalized for being savages that day (mostly personal fouls). We just looked incompetent for the most part today.
 
23-5. It was like watching a Duke basketball game, all the calls they were getting. Sure, some were justified, but it wasn't that bad.

Poor coaching and bad football IQ!!! This is something that has to be cleaned up with new hire!!Golden and Shannon had poor football IQ players. Sorry but had to be said.
