22 starters, only one would start for Clemson

Total and complete ridiculous hyperbole. It always looks like everyone on the other team is better when you are severely out coached.

Some of you are too soft.

Jordon, Phillips, Bolden, **** Mallory is better than their TEs, cam is likely #2 for them, Roche is likely in the running for starting, Hall likely as well...

We lost due to King throwing back to back INTs that killed momentum and took points off the board. At worst, it is an 8 point game if Wiggins doesn’t fall Or King throws it to the back corner of the end zone. King was off all night on the deep pass.
King has been off all year on the deep ball. I think he can’t throw it ijs

I’d take Skowski and Specter all day—and that’s not saying much.
They’d look different in our system, I think. Last night, they were asked to blitz their asses off and fill inside gaps. They crush at that. They may be better than our guys, but they’d look different in our wildness.

When Bolden is far and away the best player on the field and he misses like half of his tackle attempts that’s really saying something about the talent level

Yea, that’s why Miami lost

The OL was beat all night because of talent. Everything else falls apart with that.
Scheme around it. They screened our big athletic Dline to death. Get the ball out quicker. Thats why the OC at a school like UM makes the big bucks. Need in game adjustments to find something that works. This is college football, that game was winnable.

I agree with all that, but it’s just more of a comment on how bad 44 and 11 are for us. I like 53, but he’s playing out of position. It’s incomprehensible to have two 4 year starters at ILB with no one ready to reload behind them.

Lol @ “May be better”

c’mon Lu, you been around a long time, you know **** well this is the worst set of LB‘s Miami has ever fielded. Of course coaching and scheme make a lot of difference, but these Miami LB are atrocious

I think it goes right along with the lack of attention to detail in other aspects. Outside of dropping Roche into the flats on that 4th and 4, I don't think we surprised Clemson one time last night. Not sure where we go from here as a defense. Because against prepared teams, we look frail.

The game was not winnable, period. We got outcoached, out skilled and out played by a much better football team. Our online got destroyed up front, our receivers can’t get open and we had more penalty yards than passing yards. Lawrence exposed our defense all night. I’ll stop there, although there’s more deficiencies. Other than that the game was winnable. We beat 3 bad football teams, played a good team and what I saw speaks for itself.

I wasn't really questioning if they were better. The point was that regardless of being better, they'd look less effective being asked to do **** they're not as good at doing.

You’re right it is the coaching. Not trying younger receivers who may get separation & actually be able to catch, the inexcusable dumb penalties, not being able to get the team to play after a bye week, Lawrence exposing the defense (players playing out of position/lack of recruiting high talent or developing what they have), the staff has a loyalty to their “guys” older guys that have been in the system even though they continually fück up, I mean the Oline thing is what it is. Make in game adjustments & try to figure something out. Dabo ****ed about 25 feet higher on the tree last night establishing dominance over Manuela.

He’s not accurate on deep balls and we don’t have wr that make it easy on him. Bad combo
I said that kings deep ball is 🗑 and they tried to light me up. He missed plenty of throws last night that might’ve made it a respectable game. I rather a qb overthrow then under.
