Upcoming Canes in the HOF:

RB Frank Gore - lock, eventually. 5 year wait after retirement.

WR Reggie Wayne - should be in the next 2-3 years.
WR Andre Johnson - should be, although TD production and playing on Houston with average-to-bad QBs will hurt.
DT Vince Wilfork - should be.

KR Devin Hester - GOAT but can a player who is primarily a returner get in? We’ll see.

Gore, Wayne, Johnson, Wilfork and Hester all will be in the HOF❗️No doubt

B/C Hester was so far & away the greatest return man in NFL history, to the point teams started complaining about KO alignments to slow him down, I think he will. The NFL changed both the pro bowl votes to eliminate specialist & KOs b/c Hester was a lock for a PB slot & TD. My man would have at least 7 PBs on his resume, and he’s missing 4, for sure b/c I personally witnessed them, return TDs that weren’t accredited to him due to KO blocking scheme rule changes.

Guy will be the first to open up the door to specialist.

You may be right. Let’s hope so!

This is my take as well. It's all well and good to say special teams players don't do as well, but when you're talking about one who changed games and took the role to a whole other level, you have no choice.

Hester to the hall.

Some positions aren’t known for scoring touchdowns...that just means we put significantly more skill positions impact players in the league
Incorrect.
Total RBs, TEs, and WRs in the League:
ND -125
Miami - 105

Quick count, I may have missed 1 or 2.
I also have no clue what the "B" position is, which ND has 14 of and we have 2. So they're excluded.

Wlifork was great but the greatest DT to ever play the game? Where do people come up with this stuff?
???

First of all, I said arguably. And yes, he is one of the best DTs to ever play the game. Do you not remember how dominant he was? Belichick built his entire 3-4 defense around Wilfork.

It will take a long time, but eventually Devin H and Vince will get in, because they are best in class at their respective crafts.

There's a stay for everything is my take away on this. Never would've even crossed my mind.
