2027 Roster Discussion

Got a text from an assistant coach, "spending time making calls to kids from 2022 and getting ready to ***** over kids who are already preparing to get here."

It's good for 22's, bad for everyone else.
 
Does anybody know how many pitchers we are going to keep for the 27’ season/who gets cut?There are 25 pitchers currently.

My guess is close to 20, considering 1 or 2 were grandfathered and don't count towards the roster limit.

Our games might all go 3 1/2 to 4 hrs next year w JD's bullpen match-up philosophy.

I do find it funny that, to hear them tell it, the least powerful people on Earth are college coaches (not exclusive to baseball), many of whom are among the highest compensated state employees. They could just...not call 2022 kids if they don't want to.

Put me down for us having far more success in the bullpen this year if Jd can’t go to his Bull**** matchup love every chance he gets. The less jd is out there making decisions messing with the flow of the game the better our bullpen will be
