I remember porsters bytching when Ahmon Richards film was first brought to this board, way before he ever committed to us. They were saying he looked slow and that he was playing against “po little Timmy.”
I said the same thing back then that I’ve always said, if a kid dominates inferior comp he’s doing what he’s supposed to do, which usually will translate well at the next level.
In the case of Keys, he’s playing good competition, which makes it even more impressive.
I was confident that AR would wind up being a star, and he was. I believe that Keys will also end up being a great player for our Canes.
