I think it will be very, very rare that a 5 star RB or QB out of high school is worth the NIL price tag. Too many schools have already learned that lesson the hard way. I prefer that UM learns the lesson from the failure of others as opposed to our own. We don’t need to blow NIL budget on Rashada, Nico, Arch, CJ Baxter, etc…

The highest ROR is on Oline. Play the odds.

QBs are THE REASON why the NFL instituted the rookie salary rules….Jamarcus Russell and company were getting paid and turning into less productive Zion Williamsons.

DL/OL/CB/WR are where your 5* NIL $$$ need to be spent. The rest of the roster can be 4*, a 3* here and there to develop, and portal guys that have showed they can play.

We’re about to be getting more money from the new ACC rev share model. I agree invest first in OL/DL but there’s no reason we can’t sign some 5 star skill players lol plus this guy looks like a DUDE

I mostly agree with this, BUT the running back position is much more valuable in CFB than the NFL. An elite RB can actually make a difference.
