I know it’s cool and all to surpass the 300 mark. But I really only care that we’re getting the guys we want to get and when we don’t, our Plan Bs are just as good or have just as high upside. Anywhere in the Top 12 is fine with me if we’re doing that and developing them like we have been and not losing the two deep to the portal.

And who even knows how the 300 calculations even works? It’s definitely not linear.

We’re at 279.9 on the composite, pretty sure the 247 specific number is new this year. No clue if anyone would have hit 300 on that

It’s not new but they take their time updating their rankings. For instance if Wright is a top 10 player in January he will be a 99 not a 98. They just upgrade Boogie from a 95 to a 98 same with other players who got their 5th. Look at players outside of the top 200, they are all 90s.

In terms of the race to 300, it has always been all about the composite, always. ****, even with individual recruits, the composite and industry rankings are the only ones that matter.

I meant the 247 specific class total, not individual players. Unless it was just tucked away somewhere I’m 99% positive that’s new, and they also replaced the composite with the 247 total on the class calculator which is…annoying.
