Austin Simmons vs Braden Atkinson h2h for same money? (Personally I think Atkinson and Legree are going to be a package deal if they leave for someone, so I doubt we'd go for them).

Also WHAT IF Arch at like legit $0 NIL in a move by him to try to save his stock (allowing us the NIL to go for OL, DT, etc for legit 3 additional high priced portal guys) OR just like Austin Simmons at top of market rate or whoever you're prefered Portal Qb is? This to me is actually a very interesting question. I have no idea how much Arch actually gets or anything, and obviously he could just transfer somewhere that would be willing to pay him, or even still declare and likely at least still be a 2nd or 3rd rounder at worst.... But interesting to think about

Personally and I'll keep saying it, option #1 is keep Mensah. People acting like its already a guarantee he leaves are kinda trippin. Is it very likely? Yes. Heisman and/or Natty likely significantly pushes him in the NFL direction, but still.... If he's not a lock 1st it's better to return.

See this is kinda what I was thinking.
If you combined him making basically no NiL and that freeing up money for legit another 2-3 TOP non qb portal adds, the fact it would essentially be his money year that he NEEDED to show a massive leap…. And we would absolutely have the money to retain Nickel too…. I don’t hate it.

Would I take it over Simmons at top NIL? Honestly maybe. Would I take it over Mensah just returning? Probably not. Would I take it over just rolling with Nickel? Yeah.

Dolphins, Jets, Cardinals, Browns are all teams expected to take a heavy look @ QB in the first. Again if he continues performing at this same rate he will have a first round grade, he could pull a Dante Moore sure but it wont be because he's not a lock for the First Round.

His family doesnt need money to entice them like many of the top recruits usually would. His recruitment was about who would prepare him best for the nfl and they chose sark. Read an interesting article about it that espn posted lol. Had some funny tidbits about saban, Kiffin, and sark in the recruiting battle

definitely hasn’t. Saban retired and Kiffin changed schools and so for the criteria of who was most likely to stay for four years they were correct in choosing UT.

No thanks, unless you’re ready to deal with growing pains. The looming Financial investment isn’t worth the time needed to fix his inability to read a defense. Dawson’s had success with relatively proven guys, not projects. JKS has talent, and it’s clear he needs a reset. But he’s certainly a project to whoever takes him on.

You cannot waste Toney’s junior year. Not under any circumstances. There should be much better options out there, even if y’all want the multi-year route instead of renting a year.
