This is why we need to smack teams and not the bs like the wake game. Nickel needs to be played in real games against real opponents as a try out. It will be clear if he is the guy or not and nobody will have to debate it or call Mario crazy etc.

Like the bowl game with Emory. Left no doubt lol

I'm telling you. Mario's been planting the seeds for this in his press conferences.

Next years QB is on the roster right now.

He doesn't want to use the portal, and its going to bite him in the ***.

That's a factor. And believe me, I'm not one of these people, who I can't believe even exist at this point, who speak in total absolutes about him staying. It's insane, there is literally no such thing as a definite in this world right now. But, IMO, with all the factors considered, I think he stays put. Lebby leaving would throw a wrench into that though, for sure.

8 mil/per would probably throw a wrench as well.
 
I’d try to Dante Moore with Mensah and fix the O line. Because I just don’t see another deep run how it currently stands.

IMO, and obviously I don’t know the kid at all but if it simply comes down to money then MSU will find a way to match whatever for one more year before he’s off to next level. **** whoever their coach is will probably come out of their pocket to keep him if they have to. I’m sure there are 3-5 MSU alum multi millionaires that they could call in for a favor and scrap $8M together to keep their homegrown kid in Starkvegas. Especially if they fck around and win 8+ this year.

Brother I'm just trying to convince myself at this point. Jit grew up dreaming of being a Bulldog. That's not something that you can overcome.

For some reason someone's comments put Mario in the trick bag and he letting them play himself out of position. He sounds like he wants to be Dabo and stop using portal like its some type of badge of honor.. THAT IS DUMB!! Im not talking exclusively the QB position but his who we are a high school recruiting development statements when we benefited BIG TIME from having GREAT portal guys..
