I think we take one more one and done portal qb. and hope Izzy Is ready to roll after sitting a year to learn. I don’t like the thought of starting a true freshman

Can you imagine having to play Luke Nickel @ Clemson or down 21-7 or 21-14 to FSU, and he needing to lead us back?

Just too risky IMO.

We are going to be pretty loaded, but we can't have a big ? at the most important position on the field.

We open with Utah, play @Tallahassee, @VT, @PITT, @N.C. State, Louisville.

I think you could see a plethora of bigtime QB talents hit the portal this offseason:

Please remove Arch from any list ever, related to the Canes or Dolphins. How can anyone watch him play and think yeah I want that on my team????

QB - need one
RB - lots of talent returning (even assuming Pringle leaves)
WR - loaded
OL - lots of young talent back and could be elite if Sampson returns
TE - looks very promising

DT - will need some portal players here
DE - looking to be in good shape but could also use a top end pass rusher
LB - either ride with what we have or go get one in the portal but a lot of talented young players here
CB - loaded if healthy
S - loaded

Keeping Scott, Sampson, Lofton, and maybe Lyle as #2 makes this team the best in the country next year minus a QB.

this is why I think we must go portal QB. Project to be a top team again if we can get some help on the LOS. Also can't waste Mali's last year
 
QB for sure is at the top of the list. DT and LT(if Samson leaves although he shouldn’t) as well. Nickel should be a huge priority as well. Center? Congdon and Jackson “should” be ready to play the positions they were brought in to play by next year and that leaves what at guard? Buchanan and? None of the edges should be going anywhere but we’ll need to replace Wilson. Outside of Brown, none of the CBs should be going anywhere. LB is tricky because at some point these young guys have to work out but you can’t go spending crazy at a position like LB
