I suspect he will go to LSU to keep playing with Ahmad Hudson. Never took an OV to miami.

I didn’t expect this level of Cristobal-esque ruthlessness from Jai. He’s really giving out no favors. His ambition is cut the nets and nothing less sooner than later; which is why we aren’t even pursuing top 50 players like Jamison who we have an insider’s advantage on.

I agree with and in fairness to Coach Lucas, if he feels he will get a commitment from Daughtry or Black then he cannot take a commitment from Jamison.
I understand why Jamison is committing right now because he is trying to secure his scholarship and NIL money as soon as possible.
I have heard some noise that CJ Rosser and Beckham Black are a package deal but you hear a lot of rumors this time of year.

Beckham Black, like Jarvis Hayes Jr, is a lost cause. I get the pursuit however you gotta recognize when the object is further than they appear. And i do think Jai & staff has done just that, but they aren’t going to compromise on their selective standards for HS recruiting.

Beckham Black has a story in 247 about setting up visits to UNC and Texas, he has already taken one to Georgetown, and something else about Arkansas behind the paywall. BB is going to Arkansas or USC. Really ain’t that much to it when it comes to these other visits except those coaches on the same pursuit Jai was (prob still is tbh; who knows) on.

I actually think USC is being under-discussed when it comes to that recruitment because i believe they are more of the frontrunner than Arkansas.
 
is cayden's rise similar to vjs?.
i dont know his starting point as i dont follow bballr eruiting much...but kid seems meteoric

Yes def similar. I think you could argue either way but I would say VJs rise had a crazier arc. Didn’t VJ go from unranked to top 5 pretty fast? Covid could have been a factor in that. Nothing surprising about what Cayden did, just jaw dropping what he did to finish the circuit. But he played up last summer in a very strong class and he led them to a deep run.

All that being said, VJ just had the most impressive and absolute clutch playoff runs for a rookie I can remember - at the highest level

**** i was on here trying to get him on local aau teams. lol

He then started picking ppl off at camps and the circuit one by one.

Yea this kid seems to have that gene too based off those numbers.

And I dont think playing with Lebron will stunt his growth at all.. He gonna get better..
