Would love to see the UM logo attached to his name here, but I guess Coach Lucas has his eyes set on Beckham Black. Just hope we're not putting all our eggs in one basket. I've been saying it for a while, one of my favorite PGs to come out of South Florida in a very long time is Cayden Daughtry. Love his game. Needs to add some muscle but he's got NBA potential.

I could be wrong but I think Beckham Black is a lock to go to Arkansas.
Cayden Daughtery is easily the guy Coach Jai Lucas should be making the priority in this class but he is a big game hunter so I am not surprised he is doing his homework on Black, Jamison and Alston.
Personally, I think it would be a lot easier to focus on Cayden Daughtery in 2027 and Tai Bell in 2028 then you are set at PG with elite play for the next three+ seasons.

This is a fascinating opinion. . . I don’t agree with it but there is something to it. Similar to the NFL draft where the SEC outnumbers the ACC + XII combined….that 💩 doesn’t make sense.

In this case, i don’t think the EYBL is overrated like the SEC but oftentimes people forget we’re talking about talented teenagers with lots of room for growth. Plenty of talent not just on the adidas circuit but on the new balance, under anrmor, puma and made hoops independent lanes as well.

The non-Nike circuits are mos def being under-recruited. EYBL is still the best altogether. The Compton magic couldn’t go on the runs they go on every year if they were on the Nike circuit
