2027 Men's Basketball Recruiting

No mention of Clarence Westbrook? I thought he was one of the more impressive players for the FL Rebels when they actually played competitive teams. Plays great defense, great footwork, does what needs to be done to win games- a big part of why STA won state.

Read that Chase Richardson (4 star PG from Texas) either is just coming off of an unofficial visit from Miami or is visiting this upcoming weekend.

Not sure if we've offered this kid, but he's the real deal. It's retarded to have Prolific Prep (an Adidas program) in our own backyard and not be all over their kids.

I saw them play today and they're absolutely loaded. On paper, they're hands down the #1 team in the country.

Adding a couple of shooters to the squad is very important.
Especially the way Coach Jai empathizes defense, rebounding and physicality.

Not quite sure why he doesn’t have more buzz & offers

Played on the JL3 16u team last spring. Houston is the only major offer rn

He seems to have fallen in the rankings a bit yet he is still highly regarded. Composite top 50 player and 7th point guard. Played on JL3s 16u team last season.

Story is from his sophomore year; December 2024
Sophomore Tyrone “TJ” Jamison Jr., the No. 7 overall college prospect in the country and the top point guard per Rivals in the 2027 class, has the Cavaliersoff to a 5-1 start. The 6-foot-2, 160-pound Jamison is putting a lot of smiles on the faces of the Calvary Faithful.
Jamison leads the Cavs in points (17.7), assists (5.6) and steals (2.7). He spent most of his summer improving his game in various ways including attending camps.

“I feel like I got better and learned a lot. I played under a lot of great people like John Lucas,” Jamison said. “He gave me some knowledge on what I can do better to improve my game – playing faster and getting ready for the high school season.”

Like Ahmad Hudson, Malachi Booker is a two sport athlete. 6’6 DE. However, doubtful he wants to attempt to play both at the next level like his JL3 AAU teammate Hudson.

First, he tore his ACL last January so he missed the whole AAU szn. Next, he transferred to Montverde which is a basketball intensive school.

He is a backup for Monteverde this year but not yet good to go like his usual self. Could be a sleeper depth addition for us similar to Treyvon Maddox if Lucas pursues.
