2027 DL Jaiden Byrant

Loy is all over the place…..

He is still mentioning us as a “threat” for KJ Green and Mon Sales, when we are 1000% no longer recruiting either of them.

Green's OV is cancelled but last I checked, Sales OV is stil scheduled (which was very surprising to me as right now, he's the only visitor that weekend).
Last update on Sales was that Miami has fallen off and Texas has replaced us in his Top 4

Anyone have EJ’s article? Says he gives the U’s chances
1. Chances with Bryant
Miami surprised many when it flipped five-star cornerback Donte Wright from Georgia last week. And he might not be the last five-star flip this cycle. The Hurricanes remain in a strong positive with Irmo (S.C.) High EDGE Jaiden Bryant, the No. 29 overall recruit nationally. Bryant has been committed to LSU since January, but he’s continued to explore other options. The two programs in the best position to flip Bryant are Miami and Texas A&M. Miami is continuing to make Bryant feel like a top target and wants to allocate resources to land an elite pass rusher. Bryant made a visit to Miami for the Spring Ball Splash event last month and will be back on campus for his official visit on May 29. I think Miami’s chances for a flip are pretty good. I’m not guaranteeing it, but Miami checks a lot of boxes for him going into a critical point in his process. Bryant plans to completely shut down his recruitment in July.

Whoever we land has a good change to play if he’s good . Wilson gone , lightfoot might be gone , Blount could be gone , ca de is question mark , yall get my point

I do get your point but if Lightfoot and Blount both go to the league, we probably won the natty or at least made the final four again. If you pair this offense with Moten and Scott and Lucas and Bryce and Wilson and OJ and baller after baller PLUS both Lightfoot AND Blount give up NIL money for the league, meaning they’re Day 1-2 picks, look the **** out.

Anything is possible but losing 5 defensive linemen to the league all at once? Seems unlikely imo.

Scott, moten and Wilson are league bound but Lightfoot and Blount are not on draftniks’ radar to the same extent imo. Losing both of them would hurt really bad.

I could be delusional but I was expecting both back—no matter how well we do. The 3 aforementioned draft bound linemen plus Scroggins, Davis, Lowe and whoever else won’t allow for lightfoot and Blount to get the snaps required to solidify themselves as day 1 or 2 picks.

I do too but even they do it’s not impossible to make two deep if you’re a heavy hitter . The Cali is the biggest concern of the 3 imo some of our big de might get pushed inside like mentioned by someone up top about Blount .je not the only one . Picket gains some weight or be leaves . imo

Yeah Pickett and Blount are the two guys I’m most interested in seeing how they are used this year.

Blount could def go inside
