Gaby posted his first best case mock class 1.0 and it's a good one.

If it's accurate, and with today's rankings, it'd be 313.18 (best case scenario)...Including 6 current 5*s....

Edit: this isn't Gaby's projected class..this is best case scenario..I was messing with the class calculator and posted it.

Pre-portal I’d be giddy about this class. NIL/Portal era I wouldn’t want anymore than about three or four max 5* in one class. Much rather pay 3-4 proven transfers 5* money than 3-4 additional unproven 5* high school prospects.

You take 1 OL, 1 DL and 1-2 skill player(s) at WR/DB. Anything more than that would be bad investing imo.

I would agree with this but if you have guys that you believe are major contributors or even starters by year 2, then you take them.

I think every 5* on this list would have a path to starting or at least being a major contributor by their second year... and you already know what you have in the locker room and practice field.

you still end up getting them at a discount too (because nobody else knows how much they're worth if they're not starting/playing a lot) vs having to pay somebody like Damon Wilson or a Seaton or a Perich a lot more. who you could pay a lot to and still end up busting because they're just not a great fit in the locker room or culture wise.

He's got Joshua Dobson, Honor Fa’alave-Johnson in the mock class along with David "DJ" Jacobs??? I've not heard anything (public) that would indicate Dobson and Fa’alave-Johnson are even leaning Miami.

He does not have Dobson. The DBs are Telfair, N.Johnson, Gourdine, HFJ, J.Jones, Hyppolite

He does have both Jacobs and KJ Green in there

yeah that wasn't all his mock.. that was a mixture.. i was messing around with the calculator and realized I didn't post his actual mock class.

his mock still had us over 300 but a little bit different than what I put in the calculator.
