2026 2026 Ryan Miret OL/DL offered today

"It meant a lot. It definitely meant a lot to me that that was their first stop–to come to me and see how I was doing," Miret told InsideTheU during an on-site interview on Wednesday.

During that sit-down, Miret locked in an official visit with Miami for the weekend of June 20. That remains the only official visit on the schedule. He also plans to visit Miami on March 18 for a spring practice. While programs like Ole Miss, Nebraska, Tulane, NC State, and Syracuse also work on Miret, his focus remains on finishing his junior season with a state title as a heavyweight wrestler.

"Right now, my goal is to win the state title this year," Miret said. "Last year I played third and this year it's been my goal since wrestling season started to win the state championship. That's where I'm at right now and I'm still kind of balancing with football, but as of right now, that's my goal. The second I win the state title, I'll be back with football full-time."

An unconventional school that Miret is serious about at this stage is Air Force, who offered on Tuesday. "I'm definitely going to go there to visit also. Their education is top notch. I actually got a chance to visit two years ago when I was training at the Olympic Training Center. We tried to visit this past time, but they're just so locked down that we weren't able to this time. But I actually got a chance to visit them and their facilities are amazing and I really like what their o-line coach is telling me," Miret said.

Grant Wise is a higher rated player just based off the rankings and the schools that were after the two players

I didn’t think he looked bad. Held his own

He did ok.

Hes not a roadgrader i noticed that from his film fairly new to ol..but he is a center so it doesnt concern me. If he comnits here it would be 2 years before i even wanna hear his name.

As a cented prospect he is a solid prospect. We have Nino Brown and SJ on tap so he isnt a kid that wuld need to be rushed and should be cgeap nil wise with development base to build up.

He got dog walked a few times by Moala who is a true nose tackle and the take down by Miret while attempting to Moala is going to get flagged as holding 4 out 5 times in college. Now in terms of projects Miret has the frame to add good weight in a college S&C program to become potentially good P4 center in 3 years.

There was a lot of talent at that camp on Sunday.

💯 💯 💯

Massive project, Moala isn’t even a blue chip recruit either. On3 has him rated as 100th best DL

Portal has been great for Miami at the center position anyways

Meanwhile 26' IOL Grant Wise ( current Clemson commit, I vomited in mouth a Lil just typing that) sets a state record in the power clean. I know we can't win them all but ****, I am feeling staff projecting Miret over Grant Wise may need to be reevaluated.

Who says they projected him over Wise?

DMoney said Wise was/is a priority. They wanted them both and have been on both for a few years now.

Looks like a massive project
Not necessarily. He was going against an Oregon committ and won a rep and lost one rep. Go back and watch old clips from Conner Lew at these same camps getting whipped. He fared pretty well as a true freshman at Auburn 9 months later. This kid still has plenty of time to get better. He has the frame and strength already. Just needs to learn to use his arm length and shoot his hands instead of catching the defender. That will be fixed with proper coaching.

Comparing this project to Connor Lew who was a 4 star prospect is insane

An Oregon commit that’s the #100 DL per on3

Grant Wise is a superior prospect than this kid

I wasn't comparing him to Conner Lew. I just used Lew as an example of looking bad in a camp setting as a junior in high school. You can't judge a kid off that alone. And of course Wise is a superior recruit to him. I wanted Wise more than just about anyone. He is basically a 5 star stud with a wrong star rating.
