How is this kid off the field and as a leader? Anytime I hear the word "camp" repeatedly associated with a player, it always gives me a bit of pause.

He's honestly pretty quiet. Everyone was kind of shocked by this behavior, because by all accounts, he was a good teammate. But, I know for a fact that Jon Sumrall harbored no ill will towards him. Watch their interaction after the Tulane-Duke game this year. It genuine love and respect. Now, it didn't hurt that Tulane had just kicked their ***.

They do and they're typically drunk upper middle class types that live in gated communities. I was stuck in a gaggle of them in 2005 when we played them at the OB. They got an early TD and really thought they were gonna blow us out. I think we won 52-7.

This guy crossed my mind the other day, then I thought, "Meh, I don't think it can happen." He'd be one of my top 2-3 QBs in college, at any school. He's the real deal.

After bringing in Beck and his baggage, I’m not stressing anymore players. I think our culture is strong enough to withstand a d bag playing QB, which I don’t think this kid is. Seemed well liked as they were winning the ACC and Sun Bowl by his teammates.
